Summary

The novel begins with a prologue showing Damiano running to save Althaia from a gunshot wound. The story then flashes back to two years ago, when Althaia attended her cousin’s engagement party and met Damiano for the first time. He was immediately attracted to her innocent blue eyes, and she was curious about his mysterious aura.

They share a passionate kiss, but Althaia is unaware of his true identity or his connection to his father, also a mafia boss. Damiano decided to pursue it, despite the risks and opposition from enemies and allies.
